Springhill Community Garden

At Springhill Community Garden, the aim is to establish a project which brings the community together. The main focus is to grow fruit and vegetables with volunteers, including with the local primary school. Supporting this aim, the group holds open days and volunteer sessions where people can come together to learn about growing and wildlife in the area. Within the garden the group is learning how to support local wildlife by planting native flowers and leaving areas in a wilder state to provide nesting areas and food for insects.
